Filter Clean
This is one of the most common things I receive requests for. Don't be fooled by cheap offers from pool companies providing this service. They usually just spray off the dirt and debris without disassembling all the parts first to ensure a deep and thorough cleaning. I will make sure every part of the filter is clean and ensure it is properly re-assembled to prevent leaking under pressure.
Pump and/or Motor Replacement
If there's no fixin' your pump or motor and it needs to be replaced, let me be the one to handle the job so you can be sure it's done safely and correctly. And if you don't want your old junky pump or motor decorating your backyard, let me take it off your hands and dispose of it properly for a minimal fee.
Plumbing Repairs
This is one of my favorite things to do and I pride myself in this area. I have seen way too many bad plumbing jobs where I have to completely re-plumb these hack jobs that someone else did. I have an eye for placement, precision, and efficiency when it comes to plumbing. If there is a leak somewhere, I will find it and get it fixed!
Sand Filter Change
I generally recommend getting this service done every 5 years to maximize your sand filter's performance. Filter sand has been ground to a size of .45 to .55 mm in diameter and is very rough when new. This roughness is what makes the sand efficient at filtering out the particles of dirt in your water. As this roughness is smoothed out, your filter's efficiency goes down. This means that your system has to run more frequently to accomplish the same task. Let me get your Sand filter running at its best!
Timers
Timer issues can test your patience. Have no fear, Dr H2o is here! I can quickly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace your malfunctioning/broken timer.
New Filter Installation
Out with the old, in with the new! If you need a new filter, let me install it right for you. Don't make the mistake of hiring someone who is learning to install with your brand new filter. I can even dispose of your old filter for you at minimal cost.
Backwash Valve Repair
There are a few things that can tell you that your Backwash Valve is not functioning properly and you will need my professional service to repair it. If you notice these things listed below, do not wait any longer or the situation can worsen very quickly and can become dangerous:
- Pool is cloudy
- Pool is losing water
- Valve is difficult to operate
- Water is leaking at the valve
- Water is leaking to the backwash line in filter mode
Pool light repair/Replacement
Swimming in the dark? Or just want your pool light fixed? I'm your man. I can quickly fix or replace any pool light so you can see your glowing blue pool again!
Pop-Up gear repair
Pop-Ups not working? It could be the gears among other things. Let me diagnose the problem that is causing them to malfunction.
Salt System Conversion
This service is awesome if you want to get rid of all those nasty chemicals in your pool while still being able to keep it sparkling clean and algae free. This process involves changing your chemically driven pool plumbing system to one that works with saltwater. Converting to a salt system means providing a healthier pool for your family while becoming environmentally safe, and of course MUCH more cost efficient without having to continue to purchase all those chemicals.
Chlorine Bath
Sometimes there is nothing you can do to get algae and green spots out of your pool no matter how hard you scrub. That is where I come in and do a Chlorine Bath. This service is perfect to do after the summer is over. It removes all the algae that quickly builds up in the heat and gets your pool ready for a fairly easy maintenance period during the fall and winter. *Note, your pool will need to be drained for this service
Tile Clean
Got calcium build-up on your tile, or is it just dull and dirty? This service is perfect for you! Using my professional tile cleaning machine, I blast tiny sand-bead media onto the affected areas to reveal a shiny and revitalized tile surface. My wife likes to compare this service to a beauty service and calls it a "Microdermabrasion for pools".
Pool Drain
If you need to drain your pool for any reason, you should rely on a professional such as myself. There are things involved in draining and/or refilling your pool for which I am trained and skilled. This includes abiding by each city's requirements for draining. You should also be aware that refilling your pool will mean a higher water bill for that month.
Acid Wash
Those are not beauty marks in your pool! They are stains. And the only way to get rid of these stains is with acid. This is a very tedious yet efficient process. You will be amazed at how bright and even toned your pool looks afterward.
Water Chemistry Evaluation
If you or your pool guy cannot figure out why your pool keeps turning green so quickly or is cloudy etc., you need me to come out and tell you why. I will test your water using my professional grade testing kit and treat your pool accordingly.
One Time Cleaning
Since I do not focus on weekly pool service and maintanence, I offer a one time cleaning. This is perfect for move-in, move-out or if you maintain your pool yourself but just need a professional cleaning.
Green Pool Turn-around
If your pool looks like something an alligator can live in, this is the service you need. I will take your pool from swampy to crystal clear by cleaning out all the gunk and balancing the chemicals. I know the exact prescription your pool needs in order to look its best!
Heater Repair
Working on heaters is something that most "pool guys" are not trained or skilled in. Rest assured, I have been trained and educated with classes as well as performed many hands on heater repairs. Heaters are very complicated and expensive and you do not want yours repaired by someone who doesn't really know what they are doing.
New Pump & Skimmer Basket Installation
This service is quick and simple, but needs to be done professionally. I provide the pump and/or skimmer basket and install it for you.
